WOODLAWN, Md. — Seven students were hospitalized following a Monday morning school bus crash in Woodlawn.

It happened at the intersection of Rolling and Dogwood Roads.

A Baltimore County Public Schools official said bus #5531 was involved, while headed to Windsor Mill Middle.

The student injuries are considered minor and non-life threatening.

Another bus took the students who weren't injured to school.

"This morning, your child’s bus was involved in an accident. We followed our protocol for bus accidents and all students were evaluated by EMS at the scene. Seven students were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, and the remaining students are safe and will be brought to school on a replacement bus once police give the all clear. School administrators are on the scene providing support and staff from the Department of Transportation are investigating this incident. I want you to be assured that the safety of our students is our top priority. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school."
