Dog rescued in stream in Arbutus

A dog is safe and back on dry land after getting caught in a stream in Baltimore County. 

The Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department was called Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. about a dog struggling in the East Branch of Herbert Run near Wilkens Avenue. 

Engine 351 and Special Unit 359 responded with firefighters and swiftwater rescue technicians. They were able to get the dog out.

The dog was taken to Baltimore County Animal Services for care. They're looking to reunite the dog with his owners.
