LOCHEARN — Baltimore County Police are investigating after a caretaker found a 96-year-old woman dead inside her home suffering from apparent trauma.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 6800 block of Fox Meadow Road.
The victim has been identified as Evelyn Bailey.
An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
Police haven't released any possible motive or suspects in the case. On Thursday, a medical examiner has ruled the death a homicide by means of sharp force trauma.
