The Baltimore County Public Schools Board of Education approved and adopted the 2017-2018 school year at a board meeting Wednesday.
The approved school year starts after Labor Day and ends before June 16, 2018, per Governor Larry Hogan's mandate.
The calendar plans for five inclement weather days and shortened spring break to just three days - Friday, March 30 through Tuesday, April 3.
