UPDATE: (3:30 pm): The Fire Department says the man has been freed from the sand as of 3:24 pm, and now crews are working to get him down.
They were called to Atlantic Concrete MD just after 1 pm, and found a man stuck in the sand hopper, about 75 feet up.
He was buried to his waist in the sand.

ORIGINAL (2:15 pm): Emergency responders were working to rescue a person trapped inside an elevated sand hopper on the 10,800 block of Beaver Dam Road in Cockeysville on Friday afternoon.
As of just after 2 p.m., the extrication was still underway, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.
A medevac had been requested, and emergency responders from Baltimore City were on their way to help.
