Boys and Girls Clubs of Baltimore held a fundraising gala on Thursday in an effort to raise a goal of $75,000 for the organizations club sites.

“Most importantly, this event will highlight the needs of our city’s underserved youth and the success that can be achieved when the community comes together,” says Ken Darden, President/CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore.

The Boys & Girls Club organization is expecting about 200 guests to take part in their evening of fundraising, inspiration, and entertainment that will include a cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, and more.

The gala will also feature a message from keynote speaker Ananda Cromwell, an advocate for impacting the lives of the youth.

Special guests including three-time Emmy award nominated Ronnie "Slam" Duncan will be the event's emcee and at the end of the evening, Baltimore Ravens Defensive Tackle Brandon Williams will be among others who will receive recognition as one of the organization's 'Heroes of the Night'.
