WHITE MARSH, Md. — Baltimore County Police are continuing to investigate a fatal crash that happened the day after Christmas.
Just before 3:30 p.m., officers were called to a pedestrian involved crash in the 11200 block of Philadelphia Road.
After arriving, crash team investigators found out that a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling west on Philadelphia Road when it struck a 78-year-old woman that was standing in the walkway in front of her home. The woman, who has been identified as Dorothy Jean Myers, of the 11200 block of Philadelphia Road, was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where, just before midnight, she was pronounced dead.
Police are continuing to investigate this crash and there is no further information to report at this time.
