They walked in sneakers and high heels. They did the mile on four paws and wheels. It was a great day for the GBMC 3rd annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes.
The 3rd annual walk raised over $37,000 for GBMC's SAFE program.
SAFE stands for Sexual Assault Forensic and Domestic Violenceprogram at GBMC.
The program helps young women and adults after domestic and/or sexual assault. The program works to educate the community in an effort to stop the cycle of abuse all together.
