The two-day WorkBaltimore: Empowerment to Employment Convention is happening September 26 and 27 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Dozens of employers from a number of industries including health care, manufacturing and education will be available to talk to prospective employees.

Both days are filled with workshops on topics like turning your passion into profits, how to network, and getting the most out of your WorkBaltimore experience.

There will be resume critique sessions and classes on job readiness.

“Connecting Baltimore City residents who need and want to work – and who have the skills and capability to make a positive difference – with those who need quality employees is what WorkBaltimore is all about,” said Mayor Catherine E. Pugh.

“Moving Baltimore forward depends on moving individuals and families forward by extending opportunities for personal, professional and economic advancement."
