A woman has died after falling into a manhole near the intersection of Pearl Street and West Lexington Street Sunday morning.
According to Baltimore City Fire officials, the woman fell and became trapped in the 10-foot manhole at approximately 4:30 a.m.

Fire officials were able to remove her from the manhole and she was sent to an area hospital for treatment. She later succumbed to her injuries.
