BALTIMORE — On this last weekend before school starts, groups and nonprofits across the area did one last push to get students what they need.
One group helping out was Divine Light, an addiction treatment center in Southwest Baltimore.

The business held a backpack and supply giveaway Friday afternoon.
Organizers gave out 1,000 backpacks full of supplies.
