BALTIMORE — The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that roadway resurfacing work has started along a portion of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Starting today, milling and paving work will begin along Pennsylvania Avenue between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Franklin Street.

This roadway resurfacing project is expected to take up to three days to complete.

Full street closures in both directions will be in place daily between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

In addition, parking restrictions will be implemented in this area while the improvement work is being performed.

The daily street closures are expected to cause traffic congestion and delays, so travelers are encouraged to plan additional commute time.
