President Donald Trump is expected to visit Baltimore on Wednesday.

Donte Hickman, a Pastor at Southern Baptist Church in Baltimore, invited Trump to visit the city and see the work that is being done.

Hickman is a well-known figure in Charm City and has been working for years to revitalize East Baltimore. He's also been a huge part of the resurgence in the community around his church.

We're told the President of Johns Hopkins Bayview and two doctors with the Medicine for the Greater Good were also invited to the meeting because they've had a partnership with Hickman and the church for the past two years.

A spokesperson with the mayor's office says Interim Police Commissioner Gary Tuggle was contacted by secret service about traffic routes for the city. The mayor is not participating in any events and wasn't invited.

The last time Trump was in Baltimore was in back in 2016 when he was president-elect and went to the Army-Navy game at M&T Bank Stadium.
