Baltimore Police are looking for a man wanted for a rape that happened in the Station North neighborhood of Baltimore.

It happened January 27 in the 1700 block of N. Calvert Street at 2 a.m.

A stoop on an otherwise neighborly block where Baltimore Police say a woman attacked. It was early Saturday morning when the woman says the man attacked.

"We don't want to see anyone else victimized by this person, particularly while we have sketches such as this. We hope that someone will look at this sketch and 'you know what? I know that guy," Capt. Jarron Jackson, with media relations, said.

The man was wearing a navy, 'midnight' blue hoodie and a long black coat over that.

The distinctive clue -- two tear drop tattoos under his right eye.

"We believe the suspect does frequent that area and we're hoping that his photo depicting two tear drops under his right eye will inspire someone to call. So we definitely need someone to call with information for this," Jackson said.

If he doesn't live in the area, investigators think he's no stranger to that 'Station North Arts and Entertainment District'

A reason to increase patrols, and ask for more help from anyone who may have seen or heard something.

"So whenever we're dealing with cases like this, we're dealing with a lot of trauma. That victim is experiencing extreme trauma and assault. Sometimes it may take awhile for a victim to come forward to even talk to investigators," Jackson said.

Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
