BALTIMORE — A woman was found stabbed to death in East Baltimore on Monday.
At about 12:30 p.m., Southeast District officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Comet Street to investigate a report for a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old Freska Yerby at the location suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds. Yerby was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Homicide detectives were summoned and assumed control over the investigation.
