BALTIMORE — All day long people have been stopping by the Royal Sonesta at the Inner Harbor to help kids living in foster care.

Z-Best worldwide parked one of its trolleys outside the hotel to fill with donations for Comfort Cases.

The non-profit based out of Montgomery County collects backpacks, toiletries and fun items for kids. It then gives the bags to children who are going into foster care.

Often times, kids are placed into a foster home with just a few belongings that are usually put in a trash bag.

The founder of Comfort Cases says giving these bags to kids can make a huge difference in their lives.

"I have spoken to thousands of children who have received the cases and they have actually said to me how could somebody who doesn't know me love me? That right there says it all. And I tell these kids you are loved. You do matter," said Rob Scheer, Founder of Comfort Cases.

If you couldn't make it out on Friday, there are other ways you can help out found at this link.
