One dead after Northeast Baltimore house fire

Firefighters found a body inside a Baltimore home after it caught fire Friday morning. 

Crews were called to the 3600 block of Lyndale Avenue just after 5 a.m. and arrived to heavy smoke and fire showing from multiple floors of the two-story home. 

Once firefighters were able to safely enter the home, they found a man's body on the first floor. Officials have not identified the man at this time. 

There is still no word on what caused the fire.

This is the second fatal fire this week in Baltimore. On Wednesday morning, crews responded to a home in the 3600blockof 5th Street in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Baltimore where a 55-year-old man's body was found.
