BALTIMORE — An odor was reported at the Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School (Mervo) Friday afternoon.
According to city officials, City Schools Facilities Department determined that the source of the odor was an old grease trap that was being replaced.
They stated that "because there was no immediate danger to the safety of the students or staff there was no need to close the school."
