Rash of shootings leaves 3 dead, 7 hurt in less than 24 hours in Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a rash of shootings across the city Tuesday into Wednesday, that left three people dead and seven others hurt.

Wednesday

8:15 a.m.

Two men were found shot to the torso and face in the 2400 block of Wilgrey Court. Both are in serious but stable condition.

Tuesday

11:03 a.m.

A 29-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound in the 2900 block of Round Road. He was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.

12:05 p.m.

26-year-old David Wilson was shot to death in the 900 block of Ensor Street in Latrobe Homes.

1:43 p.m.

A 26-year-old man was shot in the 4600 block of Marble Hall. He's expected to survive.

3:19 p.m.

18-year-old Keontay Porter was found shot in the torso in the 3200 block of Southern Avenue. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.

4:11 p.m.

An unidentified male victim shot and killed in the 1100 block of E. 25th Street.

At the same time in South Baltimore, two men were shot in the 2500 block of McHenry Street. Police haven't released any update on their condition.

9:50 p.m.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the area of Catherine Street and Wilkens Avenue after police were called for shots fired. His condition is unclear.

There have now been 330 murders in the City this year, 32 more than the same time in 2018.
