Right now, Monument City Brewing Company beers can be found in around 300 restaurants, bars and liquor stores inside the Baltimore Beltway.
What you won’t find right now, though, is a Monument City taphouse. It’s under construction in Highlandtown, and co-founders and brothers Matthew and Kenneth Praay hope it’ll be ready to go at the end of December.

Once construction is finished, Monument will feature a bar with plenty of seating. Behind a half wall, patrons will be able to see the brew operation. The Praays said that their brewing equipment was already on a boat from Germany.
They’re not sure of the hours yet, but they know that they’ll be open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
