Let the festivities begin! Week of events leading up to Preakness

While the world is gearing up for a royal wedding on Saturday, here in Baltimore, we have our attention on the Preakness Stakes at the Pimlico. 

The Preakness Stake is the middle jewel of the triple crown, and here are a few things you can do to celebrate this famous horse race.

Starting on Tuesday, you can come up to the Old Hilltop at 6 a.m. to take a guided tour of the race track and learn the history of Preakness. The sunrise tours run every day through Friday.

On Wednesday, Charm City welcomes Kentucky Derby winner Justify. He's been recovering from a foot injury following the derby, but his trainers say he's doing well and is looking good heading into the race.

On Thursday, the Alibi's Breakfast where jockeys, trainers, and owners come together for good food, good laughs, and good stories.

Friday is Black-Eyed Susan Day which is also known as the ultimate girls day out. It includes the Girl's Galleria featuring shops and boutiques all owned by women.

Saturday of course is the big day and this is the 10th anniversary of Infield Fest, and organizers are promising the biggest and best one yet.
