Police find body in a wooded area in Southwest Baltimore

BALTIMORE — Police are investigating a homicide in Southwest Baltimore.

At 1:30 p.m., officers said they found the body of an adult male in a wooded area, in the 1000 block of Whistler Avenue Tuesday. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said the man appeared to have trauma to his body. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of his death.
