The Maryland Zoo has welcomed their first African Penguin chick of the season, now they need help naming her.
The Zoo plans to name all the chicks hatched during the 2019-2020 season after spices, so they partnered with McCormick & Company for the naming contest.
The first chick of the season hatched on October 19. The options for her name are Thyme, Sage, Sesame and Tarragon. You can vote for your favorite now until 10 a.m. January 3.
Last year the Maryland Zoo welcomed its 1,000th African Penguin chick.
