Five animal shelters are joining forces for one day to get as many cats and dogs adopted as they can.
BARCS, the Maryland SPCA, the Baltimore Humane Society, the Baltimore County Animal Services and the Humane Society of Harford County will be under one roof at the White Marsh Mall on Saturday.
They are taking over the former Sports Authority store and filling it with more than 200 adoptable cats and dogs.
The event goes from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Standard adoption procedures apply but all adoption fees will be waived for every dog and cat at the event.
