U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings was honored today by Planned Parenthood at its 11th Annual Spring Gala.
The gala, which was held at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, honored Cummings for his work for women’s health and reproductive issues.
The 11th Annual Spring Gala is Planned Parenthood of Maryland's main fundraising event. Each year, hundreds of supporters gather to honor Planned Parenthood.
U.S. Rep. Chris Van Hollen and former Maryland Governor and Baltimore Mayor Martin O’Malley are among a few notable recipients of the honor.
