Leaders in Baltimore and Baltimore County are preparing for the snow.

WATCH: Baltimore officials urge residents to prepare for weekend snow
"Do not wait until this weekend to get the things that you need. And of course as we go throughout the storm, check on your neighbors, especially those who are elderly or who may need assistance, and we'll continue to keep residents updated over the next few days as more information comes in and the forecast becomes clearer," Mayor Brandon Scott said.
"It's the first big snowstorm that we've had if it comes to fruition so let's see how we're gonna do and the county's right there we're gonna have all hands on deck and do everything we possibly can to keep the roads clear," Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski said.
Mayor Scott adds make sure you have the essentials at home, but don't panic buy everything in the grocery store.
