The Baltimore Department of Public Works is hosting a plastic bag take-back event to prevent litter and pollution.

It will be Saturday, November 17th from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Langston Hughes Community Center on Arbutus Avenue.

People who turn in five plastic bags or more will get a free reusable grocery bag.

There's a limit of one reusable bag per person.
