There are still far too many roads that aren't safe in and around Baltimore.
In Baltimore City, the mayor says roads are getting close to being back to normal, but not close enough for schools to open Friday.
When it comes to schools, it's not just the streets, but also the sidewalks, bus lanes and entry ways that have to be clear. In Baltimore, many are clear, but not all.
City crews and contractors are continuing to work around the clock. Officials are asking people just now clearing off their cars, "not to put the snow out into the street."
Citations for not removing snow from sidewalks have not been given to residents thus far, but officials are asking people living in neighborhoods around the city to make one final push to clear sidewalks in time for school on Monday.
