Four firefighters fall through floor in vacant rowhome fire

BALTIMORE — A vacant rowhome caught on fire in Northeast Baltimore on Wednesday after 5:35 a.m.

Firefighters signaled a 'mayday' distress call while battling flames at 1737 Cliftview Avenue.

Four firefighters fell to the basement after the floor collapsed.

According to Baltimore Fire, all four of the firefighters were able to be rescued and sustained minor injuries.

The cause of the fire remains unknown.
