Two people were injured after a fire broke out at a home in the 3300 block of McElderry Street in east Baltimore Monday morning.
Fire officials said a child and an adult were taken for treatment. A total of five people, three children and two adults, lived inside the two-story home. All family members were able to escape.
Drivers should avoid the area of McElderry Street between Clinton Street and Highland Avenue.
