A 12-inch water main break has shut down an intersection in north Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Department of Public Works. A spokesperson says it is believed about 80 services are currently without water.
Officials said the intersection of Northern Parkway and Walther Blvd is currently closed.

The Department is working to have the service restored later Wednesday morning; however the road will also have to be repaired before the intersection can be reopened to traffic.
Drivers are advised to find alternate routes.
