Two women were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center Thursday night after being struck by a car in Severn, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
Firefighters said they responded to the accident in the 8300 block of Jacobs Road just before 7:30 p.m.
Witnesses said the two women, ages 32 and 38, were walking on the side of the road when they were struck.
They both had serious, but not life-threatening, injuries. The Fire Department had no additional information on the status of the car that hit them.
