"You know, medical bills rack up very fast and the last thing I want her to worry about is having any kind of debt or worry about any kind of bills," said friend Shannon Neidhardt. "We're working on a meal train delivery for her family. My high school is working for a donation pilates class. A lot of people have bridged together and asked for ways to help."

With the hospitals in COVID restrictions, Shannon was looking ways to let her friend know people are thinking of her and her family.

"I thought this was a real good way to get everybody some kind of connection to be able help her," she said.

This is a difficult time for Christy to be in the shock trauma, her kids need her now more than ever. Her vision and some movement is coming back, a good sign for all concerned.

"We're also ready trying to get them back to school. So there is a lot of stuff going on right now and just taking everything day by day."
