The body of a 47-year-old boater has been recovered Sunday after officials began searching for him Saturday around the mouth of South River.
Maryland Natural Resources Police identified the man as Joseph Vincent Rossi of Edgewater. He had jumped into the water to retrieve his hat and then disappeared, according to officials.
The medical examiner will perform an autopsy.
