Anne Arundel County fire crews battling massive two-alarm house fire in Lothian

LOTHIAN, Md. — Anne Arundel County Fire crews battle a massive two-alarm house fire in Lothian that leaves two people displaced.

Officials say it started around 8:35 p.m. Thursday in the 5500 block of Greenock Road.

Crews searched the home and found no one inside.

A total of five firefighters were injured. They varied from some minor injuries to some minor medical complaints. None of the medical complaints were life threatening. As of this morning four of the give have been discharged from the hospital. One is still being held for observation.

No animals were hurt in the fire.

The fire was placed under control around 11:25 p.m. Thursday night.

It's unclear at this point what caused the fire.
