WEST RIVER, Md. — A 90-year-old Annapolis couple is dead following a Sunday morning collision.
Police say it happened on Muddy Creek Road in West River around 10:30am.
Donald Allen was driving a Buick Lacrosse behind other motorists when for unknown reasons his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Police say he died on scene.
Anne Allen, who was traveling in the passenger's seat, was flown to Shock Trauma where she later died.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause.
