Three adults were displaced after an accidental cooking fire in the Annapolis Neck early Tuesday.
Just before 3 a.m., firefighters responded to reports of a fire in the kitchen of a one-story single family home in the 900 block of Old Annapolis Neck Road.
The fire was controlled in less than 15 minutes by 40 area firefighters. No one was injured.
Officials said the fire was caused by unattended cooking.
Smoke alarms present in the home didn’t function.
