GLEN BURNIE, Md. — A 2 year old went into cardiac arrest after a reported drowning Wednesday afternoon in Glen Burnie.
Anne Arundel County Fire officials say they responded to the call around 4:15 p.m. in the 800 block of Old Stage Road.
Arriving crews located the family, who was trying to take the child to a hospital.
The child was found to be in cardiac arrest, and was transferred into an ambulance and taken to a hospital by paramedics.
Fire officials believe the actual incident happened in the 300 block of Johnson Farm Lane.
A spokesman with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, was unable to provide an update on the child's condition.
It's unknown what led up to the child's drowning.
