Authorities say a Utah man ducked into a church to flee from police -- only to end up having to call them for help.
Police in Salt Lake City say 46-year-old Shane Paul Owen called dispatchers for help -- more than six hours after he had fled from them and locked himself in a church's boiler room.
Police were looking for Owen as a suspect in a string of burglaries.
But when they closed in on him, he bolted into the boiler room, where he ended up stuck -- and in need of a police rescue.
