Having a dog as a best friend may be normal for most pet owners, but in some veterans' cases, a dog can be a life saver.
paws4vets is a placement program within paws4people, a local organization that trains dogs to be of service to people. paws4vets specifically focuses on placing service dogs with veterans and military dependents who have disabilities. The program helps those who need a different type of treatment rather than the traditional route.
