BALTIMORE, Md — An Amber Alert was issued just after 4am Monday for 1-year-old Damarie Williams.
Baltimore County Police said the child was taken by their father, Dariel Martin Williams, who was considered armed and dangerous at the time.
The alert was canceled later in the morning around 5:30, when police announced that Damarie had been found safe at Williams' mother's home in Baltimore City.
Dariel, 31, was ultimately arrested and charged. Police say he was also wanted for allegedly shooting Damarie's mother following an argument on Christmas night.
