COLUMBIA — Howard County police are investigating a double shooting in Columbia.
Officers were called to the 5600 block of Cedar Lane at about 8:29 p.m. Saturday for a report that two people had been shot outside.
The victims were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries.
The victims have been identified as Sherod Madison Hogue, 26, of Columbia, who is currently listed in critical condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, and Gregory Peck McGraw, 31, of Baltimore, who was also treated at Shock Trauma and has since been released.
Detectives are looking into whether the involved parties were known to one another.
