ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Just over 11 months ago, Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot announced his 2022 run for Maryland Governor.
On Tuesday, he released his first campaign add on Twitter.
After 14 years in his current elected role, Franchot claims in his tweet to have "the vision of an outsider and skills of an insider."
He says he can offer new ideas and solutions to Maryland residents.

Current Governor Larry Hogan's two term limit will be up in 2022. It's unclear at this point who else intends to run for either party.
