WESTMINSTER, Md. — A Westminster man will serve 10-years behind bars after pleading guilty to breaking into an elderly family member's home and tying him up after stealing his car, money and guns.

It happened December 28 last year, in the 1800 block of Fairmount Road in Hampstead.

Michael Paul Crosby, 46, later admitted to targeting the victim and organizing the break-in with 36-year-old Eric Michael Wright, all so they could buy drugs.

The two were later captured in Baltimore County.

After serving his sentence, Crosby will spend five years on supervised probation. Wright is scheduled to face a jury beginning March 8, next year.
