COLUMBIA, Md. — Police in North Carolina have arrested a 22-year-old man wanted for separate shootings in two Maryland Counties.

Winston Hughes is accused of killing his 25-year-old girlfriend, Fatima Kamara, on September 21 in Prince George's County.

The two apparently got into an argument at their apartment in the 2600 block of Queens Chapel Road in Chillum.

Nearly three months earlier in Howard County, Hughes is accused of shooting 23-year-old Deandre House.

Police found House in critical condition on a parking lot in the 7500 block of Monarch Mills Way, in Columbia.

He's since been released from the hospital. Police haven't said what may have led to that incident.
