Police offering reward up to $2,500 in Columbia shooting

COLUMBIA, Md. — Howard County police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred early Monday evening in Columbia.

Now, police are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for more information.

According to police, at around 5:12 p.m., police responded to the 7500 block of Monarch Mills Way for a report of shots fired and discovered a 23-year-old man in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was airlifted to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he is in critical, but stable, condition.

The victim, 23-year-old Deandre House of Baltimore, remains in critical condition at University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center as of Tuesday.

The suspect in this incident has not yet been identified.

Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances of the shooting and believe there may be additional witnesses who have yet to come forward.
