DPW gives update on Downtown Baltimore sinkhole situation

The Baltimore Department of Public Works has given an update regarding the Howard and Pratt Street sinkhole.

According to DPW, they will be prepping for work that will provide a more safe and stable construction area.

A DOT worker was sent to University of Maryland Shock Trauma after a fire and partial collapse while working underground last week. A man was doing electrical work in one of the vaults by Pratt and Howard streets when a fire broke out and the tunnel began to collapse.
