Deputy U.S. Marshal shot Thursday in W. Baltimore is off the ventilator & breathing on his own

BALTIMORE — The U.S. Deputy Marshal that was shot in West Baltimore on Thursday is now off the ventilator and breathing on his own.

He was shot at around 6:15 am in the 1400 block of N. Mount Street while delivering an arrest warrant to Dontae Green.

In an email, the U.S. Marshal spokesperson David Lutz confirmed this information. He also mentioned that the deputy still has a long recovery ahead of him.

At the moment, the deputy has not been identified.
