BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Teachers Union, parents and some members of the Baltimore community took part in a protest against reopening city schools in the city.
The union is demanding no physical reopening this year and a plan to keep students, staff and community members safe.
"Our teachers and parents suffer from hasty decisions and unclear directives without adequate equipment or training for digital school. Baltimore students disproportionately suffered from learning loss as a result."
This protest was part of a larger national day of resistance where people across the country protested for safe and equitable schooling.
