BALTIMORE — To celebrate Independence Day this year, Baltimore County is hosting a free concert featuring Baltimore Symphony musicians at Oregon Ridge Park tonight.
The “Oregon Ridge Extravaganza” will feature food trucks, fireworks and music from the Lutherville Music School. Gates opened at 5 p.m., with the Lutherville Music School performing from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by the main program at 8 p.m.
The county says that this concert will proceed as scheduled despite the announcement in May that the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra canceled its entire 2019 summer concert series.

A portion of the event will be funded using money allocated as grant funds for the Orchestra.
